My Spiritual Awakening ✨

​Sometimes, the most life-changing moments happen when we least expect them. In early 2014, I booked my very first Reiki session, simply hoping for a bit of relaxation and stress relief. What unfolded that day, however, became the beginning of my spiritual awakening — an experience that would forever transform how I view energy, healing, and the unseen world.

The Session That Changed Everything
During one of the most challenging times in my life, I decided to see a local Reiki Master. I was overwhelmed with work and personal stress, hoping that an hour of soothing music, calming scents, and gentle energy might ease my anxiety. I never imagined that this session would awaken dormant spiritual abilities I had long forgotten.

As the session began, I felt tingling and clicking sensations throughout my body. I saw swirling colors — radiant blues, purples, and golds — shifting into beautiful shapes and symbols. Then, I sensed the unmistakable presence of my grandparents standing on either side of me. Though they had passed away years before, I recognized them immediately. Through telepathic communication, they reassured me that they loved me and would always be there.

The Practitioner Confirms My Experience
After the session, I hesitantly asked if it was common for spirits to appear during Reiki. She told me she had noticed two figures — a petite woman and a larger man — on either side of me. My heart sank. I hadn’t said a word, yet she described my grandparents perfectly.

She encouraged me to pay close attention to my dreams and told me I was a gifted intuitive. That advice would prove prophetic in the days to come.

A Journey of Purpose
​What began as a simple desire to relieve stress became a journey of awakening, self-discovery, and divine purpose. Reiki not only transformed my life but also opened the door to a world filled with love, guidance, and spiritual connection.
My hope in sharing this story is that it encourages you to trust your intuition, embrace your gifts, and listen to the guidance of the unseen world. You never know when a quiet nudge might be the start of a life-changing journey.

Meeting My Guardian Angel
The following morning, I awoke to the presence of a loving being standing beside my bed. I could feel them, and in my mind’s eye, I saw a figure in a white robe surrounded by a glowing golden-white aura. Surprisingly, I wasn’t afraid — I felt safe and loved.

The next morning, I was startled awake by a clear whisper calling my name: “Kimmy.” When I spoke to the Reiki practitioner, she explained that I had encountered my Guardian Angel, whose radiant energy had been guiding and protecting me.


Awakening My Gifts
Each Reiki session after that awakened more of my natural intuitive abilities — through visions, dreams, synchronicities, and memories from my childhood. I felt a strong calling to learn everything I could about energy, the spiritual world, and how to help others.


Becoming a Reiki Master
Since that first session, Reiki has become an integral part of my life. I am now a Usui Reiki Master and a Karuna Ki Reiki Master, dedicated to using these gifts to assist others in their spiritual growth and healing journeys.

It took many years for me to step fully into my spiritual path publicly. I was hesitant to share my abilities, fearing judgment. But I now know these gifts were given to me to help others — both the living and the departed — and to guide them toward healing and understanding.
