Quick Inspiration: Wake Up, Your Guides Are Calling...

Have you ever been jolted awake in the middle of the night for no apparent reason—only to realize later that there was a reason? Many of us experience these mysterious wake-up calls without realizing they’re often messages from our Spirit Guides trying to get our attention.
For me, even after years of working with Spirit, these moments still take me by surprise. The Universe always finds a creative way to make sure I’m listening.

The strangest thing happened to me early this morning. Despite all my spiritual experience, Spirit still manages to amaze me with their persistence and sense of timing.

I was awakened by a repetitive tapping sound on my pillow—almost as if someone were flicking it. At first, I brushed it off, thinking maybe I was imagining things, but the tapping didn’t stop. Finally, I sat up, glanced around, and saw both of my dogs sound asleep in their beds across the room. Nothing else could’ve made that noise.

Then I looked at the clock and burst out laughing. It read 4:43 AM—a number combination Spirit often uses to validate their messages to me. “Really?” I thought. “You couldn’t have waited until 9:43?” But I was awake now, and the tapping had stopped, so I decided to get up.

When I returned from the bathroom, I had a strong nudge to check my phone. The first email in my inbox caught my eye—it was titled “33 Signs From Your Spirit Guides.” I couldn’t help but laugh again and thought, Maybe they should add “pillow flicking” to that list! 😄

As I reflected on it, the message became clear. I’m currently writing two blog posts about Spirit Guides, and my own guides were simply helping me along with inspiration. They know this is part of my life purpose—to teach others about the spiritual world and share what I’ve learned along the way.

Spirit also knows that the best time to reach me is during the quiet hours between 3 and 5 AM, when the veil between worlds is thinnest. It never fails—when they have something important to tell me, they wake me up. And I always remember.
During the day, it’s easy to miss their guidance amidst the noise of work, errands, and everyday life. But in the stillness of those early hours, Spirit can reach us more clearly. They know when and how to communicate in ways that truly resonate.
