Quick Inspiration: Trust the Whisper of Spirit

Have you ever ignored that quiet inner nudge, only to regret it later? I used to do this all the time—pushing aside the whispers of Spirit and convincing myself I knew better. What I’ve learned is that ignoring your intuition doesn’t stop destiny—it only makes the journey harder.

For so long, I ignored my intuition—the quiet whispers from Spirit guiding me toward my highest path. Every time I pushed those nudges aside, I found myself in regret. Now that I’ve surrendered and allowed myself to truly listen, life flows with so much more ease.

Here’s the thing: when you are destined for something, the universe will align circumstances to get you there. But if you resist, Spirit has no choice but to reroute you—often through what I call “Tower moments.” These are the shake-ups, the sudden collapses, the endings that feel harsh but are really divine redirection.

I’ll never forget one of my own Tower moments. Spirit kept nudging me to leave a job. I could feel the heaviness in the environment, even sensed whispers behind my back, yet I stayed. My heart told me to go, but my sense of responsibility to coworkers and my desire to “fix” things convinced me otherwise.

Months later, the universe stepped in—I was laid off. And because I hadn’t trusted Spirit’s guidance, the shift came in a painful way, right around Christmas and my birthday, leaving me without work for nine months. What I resisted could have been graceful transition, but instead became upheaval.

The lesson was clear: Spirit was guiding me toward freedom and alignment, but I chose fear and attachment. The path was always mine to walk—but the experience of getting there depended on whether I trusted my intuition.

​So remember this: your soul already knows the way. Trust the whispers, honor the nudges, and let Spirit guide you before the Tower has to fall.
