My Paranormal Story: Cannondale Village...

Nestled in a quaint section of Wilton, Connecticut, sits Cannondale Village, where pre-Civil War buildings still reside along the Norwalk River. In this mid-19th-century New England village located on Cannon Road, local shops and restaurants inhabit buildings that once used to be an old schoolhouse, a post office, a general store, and a still-functioning train station.

From 2015-2017, I frequented "Forza 5", a holistic fitness and wellness center on the premises, owned by Personal Trainer and Intuitive Lisa Tenore. It was there that I finally found my tribe, my spiritual community. I was able to be the psychic, healer, and medium that I couldn’t be around others. I could freely explore and develop my abilities in a safe and supportive environment while watching newcomers find their spiritual voice as well.

Daytime in this village was filled with such beautiful energy; the birds and flowing river created the best meditation music that nature could ever produce. I loved being there so much that I would go at least once a week for Sunday Morning Meditation. As my involvement with Forza 5 increased, I started attending spiritual events at night during the week, and this was when my spidey senses told me that there was another side to this land. It wasn’t because I was afraid of the dark. The property legitimately felt different at night. Forza 5 was a sacred space protected by the spirits of the Siwanog Native American Tribe who once occupied the land. I could feel and see them energetically but there was also something else there. Something darker that liked to watch the visitors and create unease.

One night as I pulled into a far-off parking space near one of the other historic buildings, I saw what looked like a shadow figure crouching outside a second-floor window. It was watching me exit my car, Its presence made me power walk into the Forza 5 building. Once I walked in the door, I was at peace and completely forgot about my experience and I never said anything until months later when Lisa wanted to ask me what I felt about the historic house at the village's entrance. She told me that she feels something bad there and it’s affecting people. I swear I had full-body chills because she described a dark presence. After we exchanged experiences we realized that they were identical. She also talked about the Native American presence keeping this thing at bay. I knew I didn’t like this entity but the good energy in this village outweighed the negative. How could a mixture of energy all exist in one environment? There's no doubt in my mind that there is a vortex or a portal there. In the Forza 5 building, there were only two places that gave me the creeps so I didn’t frequent those areas often, otherwise, Forza was a safe spiritual space.

On March 6, 2016, I was taking pictures with my phone of the large red Forza 5 building, the surrounding property, and the new addition; Lisa was now leasing one of the tiny houses across the lot so we could provide private energy healing sessions overlooking the river. It was such a beautiful day and the river sounded amazing. All members of Forza 5 came together wearing all white for the newsletter pictures. I took several photos of the tiny house, inside and out, and then added them to the upcoming newsletter. I never thought much about them after that other than the sadness I felt when Forza 5 closed its doors on February 19, 2017. It was too hard to look at those pictures but I left them stored on my phone anyway. On the evening of March 3, 2021, I was watching the The Holzer Files episode where they were investigating America’s Stonehenge in NH. I became excited because the same energy that the medium, Cindy Kaza (my future mentor) was picking up on, I did as well years earlier. I quickly pulled out my iPad to go back to the pictures that I took at America’s Stonehenge. As I was scanning my photos I came across the pictures I took of Cannondale Village and then my stomach dropped. I felt like I was going to throw up and the hairs on my arm were all standing on end. I called for my boyfriend to come immediately and asked him to look at the newsletter pictures I took of the tiny house and if he could please explain to me what I was looking at… then he saw it too. Could both of our eyes be playing tricks on us? There was no mistaking what we were both looking at on the larger iPad screen. How did I not see this before?

I zoomed in even more and there standing by the door of the tiny house was a man in a blue uniform. I knew this man wasn’t there in the building physically because I was inside that building taking photos by myself while the Forza 5 members were all in the main building. I shot several consecutive photos of the tiny house, but only one showed a man inside the building. As a medium I didn’t see or feel a presence in that building at all when I was in there but here is a full-body apparition in my picture and you can clearly make out the man’s features. I was so freaked out that I immediately contacted Lisa and told her to zoom in on my photo. She saw him too and even identified who he was. I will not reveal his identity for his family’s sake. I was so stunned by this picture that I pulled it up on my computer's large screen monitor and then my stomach sank even deeper as I noticed something else in the photo that I couldn’t see on my iPhone or even on my iPad. This can’t be real, the universe must be playing with me. So once again I called my boyfriend and he saw it too. Behind the apparition of the man was the dark shadow figure that I saw years ago crouching down in front of the second-floor window, watching me. I knew I wasn’t crazy!!! I had physical evidence of what Lisa and I saw and once again I reached out to Lisa and she saw it too. The apparition of the man didn’t seem to notice me but the shadow figure standing behind him was looking right at me in the picture with a menacing expression, as if saying “I know you can see me and I can see you too”.
